Dr. Amber Grimes was born and raised in Twin City, GA, where she currently resides. She grew up raising and showing pigs with 4H/FFA which peaked her interest in large animal veterinary medicine. After high school, she attended and played softball at Covenant College for one year. She then transferred to East Georgia State College where she played softball and majored in biology. She attended the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in May of 2024. During veterinary school she focused on large animal medicine and specialized in food animal/production medicine. In her free time she enjoys coaching high school softball, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family, friends, dogs and horse.
